## Description

This is a Special Notice in regard to Contract No. 12639524D0040. USDA APHIS PPQ issued a modification 1 to IDIQ Contract No. 12639524D0040 to increase contract ceiling from to 2.5M with Crop Dusters, LLC. The contract has one base year and one option year. The contract was award on 5/23/24 for Aerial Treatment of Grasshopper in the counties of Prairie, Custer, Garfield, Rosebud Counties of Montana.

Due to unforeseen infestations of Grasshopper in these counties, the program has quickly reached the contract ceiling and while they anticipate additional treatments will be required. This is an out-of-scope change (Additional Work) and is considered sole source contract action to the current contract. FAR Part 6.302-2 Unusual and compelling urgency applies to this contract action.

In the case of unusual and compelling urgency, justifications shall be made publicly available within 30 days after contract award in accordance with the procedures at FAR 6.305(b), (d), (e), and (f).
