## Description

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service announces an opportunity on the Hiawatha National Forest in Munising, MI to renovate an existing warehouse that is utilized for fire engine and equipment storage, wildfire staging, and a small maintenance area. Existing and future fire engines are larger in size, requiring larger overhead doors to safely travel in and out of the building. This structure is a CCC Warehouse constructed in the 1940’s.

The Davis-Bacon and Related Acts (DBRA) apply to this solicitation and is set-aside for small businesses. See attachments for complete details and bid submission instructions. There is a Site Visit at the following directions: Munising Warehouse, 314 E. Varnum St., Munising, MI 49862 on 8/18/25 at 11:00 am EST. This announcement constitutes a solicitation for construction issued as an Request for Quotation (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 14. Interested contractors must be active in SAM.gov on the date the bid is received to be eligible for award. Quotes submitted by contractors without an active record in SAM.gov will not be considered. The solicitation is posted to SAM.gov and no hard copies of the solicitation, supporting documents and applicable amendments, if any, will be provided.

No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this solicitation or any follow up information requests. For further information, review the attached RFQ solicitation and associated attachments. All questions shall be submitted by 8/22/2025.
