## Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This is not a solicitation or request for offers. The Forest Service intends to award a Sole Source award to IBcontrols to acquire a replacement of two variable frequency drives for the chilled water loop system. These new drives must be integrated into the current automation system and software previously designed and implemented by IB controls. (please see attached J&A).

The authority cited for this acquisition is FAR 13.501 (a). After extensive market research, it was determined that the previous software and system created by IBcontrols can only be integrated with the new equipment needed to meet the requirements of the customer. Please see the attached J&A for more detailed analysis.
