The original campground was privately built in 1965 and donated to USFS. The campground has been available for reservation of the entire facility and used for group use events. The campground is a multiple use facility with about 14 individual campsites, trails, a pavilion with day use area and is also used for school fieldtrips. This project consists of constructing/reconstructing various camping facilities, roads, and parking areas at the Timberlane Campground located on the Kootenai National Forest. PROJECT LOCATION: The Timberlane Campground is located in northwest Montana about 7.8 miles north of the Hwy 37 Kootenai River Bridge in Libby, Montana. Access is paved to the site on Pipe Creek Road, also known as Montana Secondary Highway 567. The campground footprint is about 10 acres and the lot size is 640 acres. The legal description is South ½ Section 35, Township 32N, Range 31W. The entire section is owned by the US Government (USFS). Contractors shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, supplies (unless specified elsewhere as Government-furnished), and incidentals required to accomplish specified work in compliance with the terms, specifications, and provisions of the contract.
