The Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest (HTF) requires a short-term rental facility to serve as the new operating base for the Forest Aviation Program, the Bridgeport Helitack Crew. Bridgeport Helitack is currently in the fourth year of a four-year short-term rental at the Minden-Tahoe Airport and is interested in pursuing a long-term lease. However, it is expected that the current rental contract will expire prior to securing a long-term lease.
