Dominant vegetation consists of tamarisk with stems ranging from 0.5” – 8” diameter at 6” above the ground, and most stems smaller than 2.5” diameter at 6” above the ground. However, there are stems that are larger than 8” located within the treatment area. The treatment area is on nearly flat terrain with a slope of less than 10 percent. Many of the Tamarisk plants have been previously treated either by spraying, cutting, pulling, or burned.
