## Description

The High Cascades Ranger District on the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest is contracting a timber stand improvement project to remove non-commercial ladder fuels in the forest understory within previously commercially harvested and non-harvested timber areas to promote forest health and decrease potential effects of wildfires not only to the timber stands but adjacent communities. The requirement is to thin/improve 359 acres.
