Aggregate gradation and testing shall follow the Standard Specifications for the Construction of Roads and Bridges on Federal Highway Projects (FP-14) and the attached Forest Service Supplemental Specifications (FSSS) or the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) Section 02630 – Base Aggregate specifications. The FSSS and ODOT specifications shall be found as attachments to this solicitation. Aggregate shall be commercial source and “Oregon Weed Free Certified”. The Contracting Officer (CO) shall collect and inspect certifications for the material, weed free status, and truck weight slips to verify compliance with specifications listed herein. Equipment cleaning is incidental to the hauling of material; Contractor shall notify CO no less than 2 days prior to requesting equipment inspection. Approval of cleaned equipment is required by CO prior to mobilization. The Contractor shall provide all truck material weight tickets to CO to verify the quantity delivered to the stockpile location conforms to the quantities required by the contract in the Schedule of Items.
