Services are needed to mechanically cut and remove merchantable timber on approximately 2,604 acres on the Coconino National Forest to restore the Forest to more historic conditions and mitigate the risk of catastrophic wildfire. Additional services are needed to remove activity slash and thin non-merchantable material from the project area. Padding over high-pressure gas line crossings will be required to mitigate risk of damage during logging operations. Timing of completion is of high importance in this project. As such, there will be required milestones to be met annually in terms of acres treated with required due dates and will be defined in final solicitation. Proposed Work Items: 1. Cut and Remove Included Timber (2,604 acres) 2. Remove All Activity Slash from Forest Service Lands (2,604 acres) 3.
