The USDA-ARS PA Grazinglands Research Laboratory in El Reno, OK is in need of a Preventative Maintenance Service for equipment used to quantify research on methane emissions from cattle. The intent will be to award a sole source contract, outside of documented/verified proof that there are viable competitive options available that can provide similar services. This notice does not commit the USDA to contract for any supply or service. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. However, if a competitive solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Governmentwide Point of Entry. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor the Governmentwide Point of Entry for additional information pertaining to this requirement. Interested businesses should submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than ten 8.5 X 11 inch pages, font no smaller than 10 point) demonstrating ability to provide the required services.
