## Description

**UPDATE 8/22/24:** A new Solicitation has been issued and posted for this Project. The Solicitation Number 12305B24R0045. The Requirement has been updated. See Solicitation for details for date of Site Visit and deadline date for RFIs. Please note the Due Date for Offers (Proposals) in the General Informaton section of this posting and in the Solicitation (unless Amended).

**UPDATE 9/10/24:**

Amendment 0001 has been issued and is attached. The Amendment is incorporating the current Wage Determination and providing responses to the received RFIs.

**UPDATE 9/19/24:** Attachment 5 has been removed from this requirement.

This is a request for proposal. The Solicitation Package is attached.

The Technical Requirements have been revised where the Basis of Design is a Prospiant Windjammer 6000 Greenhouse Model (OR EQUAL), and the configuration is one (1) stand-alone greenhouse as the Base Bid and one (1) stand-alone Prospiant Windjammer 6000 Greenhouse Model (OR EQUAL), installed in close proximity to the Base Contract Greenhouse as Bid Option 1. General Information Magnitude of Construction: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 The resulting contract will be a Firm Fixed-Price contract.

The solicitation is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS Code is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The small business size standard is $45.0 million. Period of performance is 180 days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.

**Bonds:** If the contract exceeds $35,000, the offeror to whom award is made shall furnish a payment security, which can be a payment bond or an alternative form per FAR 52.228-13, Alternative Payment Protections. IAW FAR 28.102-1, Awards exceeding $150,000 require both Payment and Performance Bonds. See solicitation details regarding a Bid Bond, which will be required.
