This is a notification of an intent to award a single source procurement under NAICS code 811210. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Northeast Area (NEA), Animal Biosciences & Biotechnology Laboratory (ABBL) in Beltsville, MD will solicit and award a purchase order for a yearly on-site maintenance and support plan for FACSMelody flow cytometry instrument located in a Biosafety Level 1 Laboratory. The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide this requirement. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C.3304(a)(1), only one source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. If firms believe they have the technical capability to meet this need, submit a technical capability statement along with business profile to Dilynn Rogers at dilynn.rogers@usda.gov by 9/13/2024.
