(v) LINE ITEM QTY Unit of Measure 0001 1 EA (vi) The Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Environmental Microbial and Food Safety Laboratory (EMFSL) in Beltsville, Maryland, wants to purchase a Brand Name or Equal Vision Systems Technology 288-megapixel resolution color (VP-288MX-C10) and Mono (VP-288MX2-M15K) cameras to develop imaging inspection systems for detecting small contaminants on animal carcasses. A high-resolution camera is required to inspect small substances on a large object, such as an entire beef carcass. Cameras for the inspection imaging systems have a CoaXpress 2.0 interface and a 288-megapixel resolution. In addition, each camera comes with a lens, frame grabber, image data cable, and power source. Since small substances such as hair, bugs, and pieces of metal and plastic are difficult to detect using a conventional imaging camera, the inspection systems require a minimum of 288-megapixel (24000x12000) resolution. Moreover, the imaging systems require a stable connection and frame rate to avoid losing the image data in real-time use..
