## Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source and is not a request for competitive proposals. The authority for this sole-source procurement is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Eisenhower intends to issue a sole-source, firm-fixed price award to Qiagen IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The justification for the sole source is due to Qiagen being the manufacturer and sole authorized company. Therefore, no other company can provide and support these products in Georgia without written authorization, agreement, and / or consent from Qiagen.

**Salient Characteristics:** Services necessary to perform the needed service and repair of the instrumentation covered (11 Advanced XL Robots) and (1 EZ2 Instrument). The service agreement plan includes priority technical support (48 hours/2 business days), one preventative maintenance service per visit, and repair visits as needed. Labor, genuine replacement parts and travel related expenses are covered.

The one-time pre-agreement inspections include inspection and preventative maintenance on-site, all travel and labor costs plus all necessary parts to performance inspection and PM service. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government shall consider all responses received by 7th Feb 2025 at 3:00pm Est. All interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement.

A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement. MICC - Fort Eisenhower will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice.
