## Description

The USDA Forest Service intends to issue a firm-fixed-price, sole-source award Li-COR Inc. to replace two current gas/moisture analyzers at the Northern Research Station which are used in conjunction with one another for measuring forest productivity and impacts of prescribed fire fuel reduction treatment on forest growth and quality at the Silas Little Experimental Forest. USDA Forest Service intends to procure two 7200RS-1 and two 7200-101.

Data collection materials, methods, workflows, and reporting have been established using the The Li-COR 7200RS-1 and the 7200-101 Flow Module is a necessary peripheral to the function of that unit. Utilizing a consistent and compatible eddy flux gas/moisture analyzer monitoring equipment is set-up to build this powerful data set is important.

This analyzer is capable of sampling across all environmental conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow), can be used with factory calibration, and is directly compatible with other associated meteorological equipment used in tandem by USFS flux tower projects. The Li-COR 7200RS-1 and 7200-101 Flow Module is only available direct through Li-COR.

The anticipated award date is September 2, 2025. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided.
