## Description

Notice # 1150934 This is a special notice prepared in accordance with FAR 5.2 “Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions”. There is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will receive no response.

This proposed contract action is published to notify potential sources that the USDA Forest Service, Hydrology Laboratory, Southern Research Station, Oxford, MS intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract to Tri-Star Companies (UIE: C19CTKKZFYA3) Closing date of Notice: July 20th, 2025, at 1159PM (EST). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238290 The size standard is $22M.

The anticipated period of performance is from August, 1st 2025, through September 30, 2025 Estivated Contract Value: $27,000.00 The intent of this project is to make urgent repairs to the HVAC system at the Forest Hydrology Laboratory located at 1000 Front Street, Oxford, MS. The scope includes replacing a failed chiller compressor, repairing a chiller pump and a boiler pump and cleaning the coils for the chiller, Dedicated Outside Air Supply (DOAS) and Samsung units.

All components shall be integrated into the existing HVAC controls software. All labor, equipment, and materials are to be supplied by the contractor. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with International Building Codes, ASHRAE standards, NFPA codes, and other applicable codes and standards.
