## Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Market and Regulator Programs (MRP), Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), Science and Technology Program (S&T) intends to award a purchase order to LABWORKS, LLC located at 230 N 1200 E STE 202, Lehi, UT 84043-5867 for on-going Licensing and Support for the Labworks Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The period of performance for the purchase order is anticipated to be 04/01/2025 – 03/31/2026.

AMS laboratories need to remain a scientific leader within programs that create domestic and international marketing opportunities for U.S. producers of food, fiber, and specialty crops which provides the agriculture industry with valuable services to ensure the quality and availability of wholesome food for consumers across the country and around the world.

AMS uses a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software provided by Labworks, LLC. The Labworks LIMS is software that improves laboratory productivity by providing an efficient means to manage samples, track inventory, input results, integrate instrument data, and produce reports of sample results. The LIMS is central to the operation and management of a laboratory, testing data and business needs. LABWORKS is the single source for any upgrades or support for its software systems.

The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 541519 – Other Computer Related Services with a small business size standard of $34.0 Million. This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive quotations. Award of the purchase order is estimated to be March 31, 2025.
