## Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Peace Corps, Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Acquisition and Contract Management, on behalf of the Office of Volunteer Recruitment & Selection, intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order to Society for Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS), 1754 Technology Dr STE 212, San Jose, California 95110-1320 for National Diversity in STEM (NDiSTEM) conference sponsorship which takes place October 31- November 2, 2024. The purpose of this contract is to leverage recruitment, diversity & outreach, networking & partnerships, brand visibility, and talent acquisition to showcase Peace Corps to reach a critical segment of the Hispanic and Native American STEM market.

The conference draws more than 5,000 individuals from across the United States and US territories who are research-focused, highly engaged and motivated in the fields of STEM. Participants include Students, Postdoc, and Professionals from 14+ different disciplines under the STEM umbrella. SACNAS is an excellent venue for brand awareness, lead engagement, and connecting with a diverse group of influencers.

The Government intends to procure this requirement under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) – Contracting Officers may solicit one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES nor a solicitation of offers.

However, the Government will consider written responses from all responsible sources by noon Washington DC local time May 23, 2024. Written responses must include sufficient information to establish capability to fulfill the requirement. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of future market research requirements. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government will not be responsible for any costs of preparation in response to this announcement. Any quotation/response should be e-mailed to the Contracting Officer at mcoleman@peacecorps.gov.
