## Description

Description THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE / PROPOSAL The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA), Healthcare Contracting Division Northeast (HCD-NE), on behalf of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC), in support of the National Capital Region Pain Initiative (NCRPI), intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to ACUMED-ORG, LLC, 438 Rt 6A, Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts, United States, 02675-1825.

The anticipated award will be made under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition pursuant to FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1) Soliciting from a Single Source for Purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. The contract is intended to procure Integrated Structural Acupuncture Training for 12 DoD Attendees to be certified in Medical Acupuncture to support the treatment of pain for beneficiaries for Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) Medical Staff.

This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. Phone calls will not be accepted. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed action based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities by responding to this notice no later than 10:00am EST, December 12, 2025 by email to ealed.m.nuru.civ@health.mila and cc: erica.s.oh.civ@health.mil. All information submitted should support the offeror’s capability to provide the training required and should be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.
