The anticipated award will be made under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.” This agreement is intended to allow for the procurement of VASCADE arterial and venous closure sheaths and supplies required for cardiac electro-physiology procedures. Haemonetics Corporation is the only provider of the VASCADE Hemostatis System and therefore, the supplies must be obtained from the Sole Manufacturer Haemonetics Corporation. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. Phone calls will not be accepted. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed action based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
