The Library’s National Audiovisual Conservation Center (NAVCC) Audio Preservation Laboratory consists of 11 preservation studios, an immersive audio listening room, and three support rooms that serve them.

NAVCC purchased the Lawo HOME System triad of servers to handle all the audio routing and traffic between these rooms for a flexible, self-contained audio network. This hardware shall implement an AES67 Audio Over IP network compatible with the Lawo HOME System utilizing all existing network endpoints; Merging Pyramix workstations, HAPI, and HORUS. This system must follow the Library’s AOIP Network Concept and include a minimum 12-month warranty that ensures the new system is free from defects based on material, workmanship, and integration with new and existing Library components for the complete Audio Over IP network system.
