## Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Deputy Director of Infectious Diseases/ National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepitatis, STD and TB Prevention/Division of HIV Prevention (CDC/NCHHSTP/DHP) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Integra Biosciences Corp., 2 Wentworth Drive, Hudson, NH 03051. The CDC National Center for HIV, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention (NCHHSTP)/ Division of HIV Prevention (DHP)/Laboratory Branch (LB) has a request to purchase an Integra ViaFlo 96 fluid dispenser system that will allow the high throughput and accurate production of Enzyme Immunoassay (EIA) plates used in the detection of HIV antiretrovirals.

The system will streamline and automate a laborious workflow needed by the program. Integra Biosciences Corp is a company that’s dedicated to developing platforms for liquid dispensing. Their products have superior throughput, accuracy and flexibility. The ViaFlo 96 liquid dispenser platform is a commercially available item manufactured and sold by Integra Biosciences.

This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responses received within fifteen (15) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government.

A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
