AMBRA will shorten case classification time significantly; benefits to AFM national surveillance will include more real-time data reporting, rapid feedback to clinicians and patients as to their case classification, and more accurate image viewing for improved case classification. Using AMBRA software, hospitals can upload MRI images of suspected AFM cases directly to a protected and confidential cloud for review by the expert neurology panel. AMBRA software allows images to be directly loaded for viewing by the neurology panel, thus preserving the integrity of the radiographic image, or mailing images to CDC who would then directly upload to the cloud for viewing.
